Do Not Dropship These 5 Horrible Items (Warning: Aliexpress Products to Avoid) in 2018

Learn which 5 horrible Aliexpress items you should not dropship in your dropshipping store…

(View On Youtube)

Why You Shouldn’t Dropship Product #1:

Because it Contains Trademarks & Brand Name These Star Wars mug & Dead Pool Pikachu are illegally using the Star Wars logo & Pikachu Toy Figure – a trademark they don’t have permission to reuse. Dropshipping this is very bad for two reasons:

1) The product will get removed from Aliexpress because it is illegal. It is only short-term money.

2) It’s illegal to sell it, and you are risking getting into trouble with the law by dropshipping it.

Why You Should Dropship Product #2:

Because it’s VERY Boring & Too Generic The product is too simple and it is easy to find in their local mall. It does not create any scarcity or urgency to the customer. You need to make them have an emotional reaction to the item that they are seeing. They need to look at it and really, really want it.

Generic/boring products, it’s very difficult to make them buy because the item is not very exciting and doesn’t appeal directly to something they love. In addition, it’s very hard to create scarcity because they can buy generic/boring products from anywhere cheaply. So stick to selling unique, original, special items and it is hard to find in Walmart, Costco, Amazon, and Local Mall.

Why You Shouldn’t Dropship Product #3:

Because you are NOT allowed to run Facebook ads to advertise it. Knife & Weapon are BANNED. And it’s not just Knife & Weapon Facebook don’t allow. Categories like Sex Toys & Tabacco and Surveillance Cameras also aren’t allowed to be advertised on Facebook’s platform. For most beginners, you’ll have a far easier time if you stick to niches that are allowed on Facebook, Adword, other major advertise platform and use that for your traffic source.

Why You Shouldn’t Dropship Product #4:

Because It Doesn’t Have ePacket Shipping Make sure you ship items that have 2-3 week delivery options (like ePacket) so that customers get their items faster. This will make customer support a lot easier and you’ll get fewer emails from unhappy customers asking where their item is.

Why You Shouldn’t Dropship Product #4:

Because it is too expensive Think about it: it’s cool, novel, unique, and would have guitar lovers, violin lovers, music lovers and who love coffee & tea would likely to buy it! But it’s way too expensive.

The sweet-spot for pricing is to keep your items at no more than $15 or $20. And to do that, you need to aim to find items that cost no more than $5, which INCLUDES the cost of shipping. So if you did try to sell this $9 guitar mug, you’d have a very small margin to make a profit after advertising and the cost of the actual product itself.
