In this article, I cover a project I like called VaporFi. They offer nodes with some interesting features. Not just that, but they have some out-of-the-box thinking when it comes to investments. Also, their entry is VERY low, so just about anyone can jump in.
Let me introduce to you a new opportunity you can earn crazy passive income. I’m talking about Vapor Nodes.
When I’m testing this platform, I was wow I love it. So in this video, we going to deep dive into what is vapor nodes? How much you can make money and how to set up your node.
What is vapor nodes?
This is one of the first DaaS (decentralize financial as a service) companies to utilize the Avalanche network because of low fees and fast transaction times.
Currently they have 33K follower on twitter and 25K members on discord.
How does it work?
When you create a digital node, a portion of your tokens will be used to build the VaporNodes treasury, a part will go to reward pool and operation team pool.
You can see current Allocation your node is 80% reward 10% each for LP pool and Team pool but the new allocation 84% which you make even more money and 8% each for LP and team pool.
How do you buy VPND token?
Connect your metamask to avalance network using chainlist.org
You can buy avalance from coinbase and transfer to your metamask, or you can use kucoin, crypto.com, binance.
After that you going to this website called trader joe
You swap Avax to VPND token.
You go to the dashboard here
VPND Price and min price node 1,000 VPND1000 VPND = $26 I like this because it is very affordable.
Check out the nodes
This is what I earn so far
How to create nodes?
All you need to do is hit create nodes button
You need to have 1000 $VPND to create 1 node.
Investments and future plans
For the project to work they have to invest and create revenue to pay the node creators. They have some investments in Strong Nodes, CVX, an AVAX Validator (over 2,000 AVAX).
Personally, I would like to see more investments than that to make the project more sustainable.
Also, they are working on 2 ambiguous projects:
- Vapor chain (Avalanche subnet)
- Vapor launch (Launchpad)
