Welcome to my Axie Infinity breeding guide 2022! Today I breed my first plant axies in and show you step by step how much it is cost, breeding cost, bought my AXS & SLP tokens, and planned out my risks for purity on parts using a breeding simulator tool.
Today I’m excited to share you about I’m breeding my first axies ever. I’m going to show you each axies cost, breeding cost and breeding stimulation.
Breeding in Axie Infinity is a way of creating a new Axie by producing and hatching an Egg. Its main purpose is to create an Axie with the desired traits such as cards, body parts, and class.
Players can breed 2 Axies to create a new offspring. The offspring Axie comes in the form of an egg, which morphs into an adult after 5 days.
In order to start breeding, you will need 2 Axies, a fixed amount of AXS, and a certain amount of SLP.
For every breeding instance, you need 0.5 AXS and a certain amount of SLP, depending on the breed count of each participating Axie.
While the required amount of AXS is fixed for all breed instances, the required amount of SLP depends on the breed count of the two Axies that are being bred. The higher the breed count of the Axies that are used to breed, the more SLP is required.
How To Breed In Axie
Breeding in Axie Infinity is simple. You just have to follow these steps:
- Go to your inventory and choose the Axie you want to breed. Select the ‘Breed‘ option.
- You will be redirected to a new window where you will be able to select the 2nd Axie for your breed.
- Choose the 2nd Axie in your inventory, and press the “Let’s Breed!” option.
- After a few seconds, your Egg will be in your inventory.
In Axie Infinity, “Breed count” is the number of times an Axie has already bred and produced an offspring. Axies can only breed up to 7 times, so an Axie can have a maximum breed count of 7.
Each Axie can be bred a maximum of 7 times. If the Axie hasn’t bred any offspring yet, then the breed count is 0/7. An axie with a 0/7 breed count is called a Virgin Axie. The lower the breed count, the more valuable the Axie.
Note: sibling Axies cannot breed together, and parents cannot breed with their offspring.
